Dr. Ryan Song's Take

"I believe in the power of self-healing. I'd love to help you by providing all the knowledge, tools & equipment that you need. So, you can treat yourself!"

Koalas are most likely...

  • You may already know what triggers headaches - too much of a specific substance such as caffeine, recreational drugs, medications (long-term use), nicotine, even too much sugar.

  • Advil or Tylenol do not help much. Or if it does, only for a short period of time.

  • Your sleep pattern is irregular and may struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep.

  • You do not drink enough water.

  • Your diet isn't healthy, eating too much of processed foods.

Common pain patterns...

Temple headaches

This is a typical sign for Koalas. If it's episodic, throbbing, pounding, debilitating, it may develop into migraines.

All around the head

Dizziness, a fever, or vomiting? you must see a doctor as it may develop into something serious.

Koalas usually struggle with...

  • You may be consuming food that's causing headaches such as caffeine, energy drinks, artificial sweeteners, alcohol, chocolate, aged cheese or salty foods. Basically, something stimulating your body and mind. The stimulants tend to burn nutrients faster than ever as such activities require more energy. Long-term consumption of such stimulants may cause serious health concerns.

  • You're not alone! About 20% of headaches are thought to be food sensitive. Please don't skip meals; it may cause low blood sugar (glucose) level, leading to headaches that may be dull, nausea and lasting.

  • How about tabacco (or e-cigarettes) or second-hand smoke? Nicotine, one of the components of tobacco, triggers blood vessels to constrict, reducing blood flow to the brain. It leads to headache pain, of course.

  • Substance abuse (alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, medical drugs, etc.) or withdrawals may cause headache as a side effect. Of course, the more the chemicals, the worse.

  • Processed food is another factor as it dehydrates the body. You really need fresh food and fresh water. Lots of it.
